Successful commissioning of new plants by Capaccioli
Start of production at Ceramica S.A. in Iasi
Capacciolimpianti announces that the new production plant for bricks of the Brikston brand supplied to Ceramica S.A. in Iasi, Romania, has been successfully started up on schedule. The plant has a daily output capacity of 750 t of hollow bricks with the possibility of increasing to 900 t. This is the second complete plant supplied by Capacciolimpianti to Ceramica Iasi, which was very satisfied with the excellent results gained with the first plant (30% production increase with only 0.5% scrap).
The new complete plant consists of:
› Robotized setting machine for loading dry products onto the kiln cars
› Unloading machine for fired material and robotized packaging line
› Continuous dryer with ventilation on both sides of the cars and with rotating trays for optimum orientation of the products during the drying process
› Tunnel kiln (7 metres wide) with light kiln cars, very high insulation and smoke emissions monitoring
› High-precision cutting line with calibration of perpendicular cut
The result is a highly automatized and extremely flexible plant with a low personnel requirement. The plant produces a high-quality building material with dimensional precision and a bright, homogeneous colour.
Unloading and packaging plant for Briqueterie La Tafna (Tlemcen, Algeria)
For the first time in Algeria, the companies of the Group have installed two unloading lines with packaging of fired material without pallets. The packs are formed with two central holes in order to allow a forklift to lift up the pack and store it.
The two lines were supplied to Briqueterie La Tafna in Tlemcen (Algeria). The customer was very impressed by the good performance of the machinery and the professionalism of the Capaccioli staff. Each line has a production capacity of 700 t/day.
Capaccioli also supplies clay preparation plants
With its highly skilled and experienced staff of engineers, Capaccioli has now designed and constructed machines for clay preparation. The first machine built which is about to be installed is the extruder named Aral 650 (in honour of Araldo Capaccioli, the founder of the company and father of the present General Manager, Eng. Stefano Capaccioli).
The machine is the result of over 30 years of direct experience in the heavy clay industry and is the first machine of a complete range of preparation equipment, now at an advanced stage of design, ranging from roller mills, fine roller mills, mixers and filter mixers to clay crushers.
Capacciolimpianti is at present building a new production unit for the construction and assembly of the complete range of preparation machines. This means a very large investment for the Capaccioli Group, which will become a leader in the clay industry as it will be able to offer to the market a complete product range from the quarry through automation equipment, dryers, kilns and burners up to the storage of fired material and post-sales assistance.
Capacciolimpianti is convinced that it shall be able to fulfil the different requirements of the worldwide customers to their full satisfaction.
