Jochen Nippel named Keller’s new CEO
Before joining the Keller Division, Jochen Nippel first worked for Thyssen Stahlunion GmbH and then spent 15 years in operations management at the Engineering Division of the Linde Group, a global leader in industrial gases and engineering solutions. Initially in charge of negotiating major contracts for markets in South America and Asia, Jochen Nippel was in charge of Linde’s operations in China for five years; first as CFO and thereafter as CEO for the engineering site in Hangzhou and production facilities in Dalian. In 2010, he was appointed Managing Director of Linde Engineering Middle East. Based in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, he was responsible for Linde engineering’s operations in countries throughout the Middle East.
Jochen Nippel will guide Keller’s growth on international markets and assist clients with projects involving investment, production efficiency programmes and product innovation.
In 2012, Keller Division had sales of € 76 mill. and profitability of around 3%, showing marked improvement. With major orders booked last year in Eastern Europe, Maghreb and Saudi Arabia, Keller will improve its revenue again in 2013.
