Keller: Automatica 2016 exceeds all expectations
For the second time the machine and plant manufacturer Keller participated this year at Automatica, the international trade fair for automation and robotics in Munich. On the Fanuc “Yellow Highway”, general sales manager Ulrich Hagemann and his team presented an exemplary robot application with one of the strongest long-arm robots worldwide, the Fanuc 20001A/1700L.
The highlight of the fair was of course the ceremony for the Fanuc Award 2016 for outstanding robot solutions in the category “handling” in the presence of Fanuc President & CEO Dr. Yoshiharu Inaba.
“For us in the heavy clay industry strong long-arm robots are tools we deal with almost every day”, said Mr Hagemann. “At this fair, however, it was demonstrated again that our solutions we developed for customers outside our industry are always greeted with enthusiasm and amazement. Our high technical expertise in the materials handling sector again generated huge interest this year – now we have to see, as a follow-up to the fair, whether we will again be awarded with contracts from other industrial sectors.”
