Keller‘s debut at Automatica in Munich
“With meanwhile more than 500 robot installations we are an established player in the heavy clay industry when it comes to innovative solutions“, said Marketing and PR Manager Wolfgang Brunk. “Outside of this industry, however, we are still relatively unknown. On top of this, most applications we have implemented in other industrial sectors are subject to confidentiality. Therefore, for Automatica we have come up with a special interbranch robot demonstration that shows our competence in all fields of industrial applications. The response shows that we were spot on with this concept.“
Sales Manager Ulrich Hagemann also rated the participation a resounding success: “Unlike Ceramitec, Automatica is less frequented by top managers but by engineers and technicians specifically looking for solutions to be employed in their companies. Our robot demonstration was met with great interest among the specialists and we made a lot of new contacts – our attendance in the Yellow Arena has paid off in full.“ The head of the Keller Electrical Engineering, Automation and Process Technology department, Josef Schröter, shares this view and adds what he experienced in Munich. “Many times the technical questions the experts asked us went well beyond what we know from fairs for the heavy clay industry. This often made it even easier for us to convince our visitors. When engineers meet up, they often speak their own language“, said Josef Schröter, hinting a smile, and he adds that many prospective customers were also very impressed by the comprehensive control concepts presented by Keller. “Here we have a trump card we need to make the most of in the future“, Schröter concluded.
