New setting and dehacking line for the Nexe Group
Beralmar has supplied a setting and dehacking line for the IGM Stražilovo block plant in Sremski Karlovci (Serbia), which forms part of the Nexe Group.
Beralmar, the Spanish plant engineering company, has already supplied different solutions in combustion as well as drying and firing processes for several Nexe Group plants. This setting and dehacking line is, however, the first Beralmar line of its type for this customer. The scope of supply comprises:
Setting line with robots
Dehacking line with robots, with programming of layers for packaging
Packaging: configuration of final packs
The control screens are intuitive and easy to operate, as Beralmar mechanical solutions are. This is an increasingly important aspect on account of the growing scarcity of qualified production operatives.
The commissioning of this equipment has been hampered by travel restrictions caused by Covid-19, but it will still proceed with online support. On the one hand, there will be remote access and control of the PLC by means of TeamViewer, and on the other hand video cameras have been installed at various points in order to be able to monitor live the results of changes in the program control configuration.
This online start-up experience, which is obviously only possible because the customer has sufficiently qualified and competent personnel, will be a learning experience that will undoubtedly be useful to Beralmar much further.
